This space is for students to come and learn how to be confident readers, researchers and consumers of information.
Students are encouraged to read and enjoy their time with books and in the library and use all the resources available to them. Our teacher librarian works with classroom teachers to become discerning users of information in all formats.
We aim to develop a love of reading in all students by giving them access to books they are interested in across all collections. There is a wide range of student junior fiction, fiction, non-fiction, magazines, graphic novels, readers, and digital resources.
All classes have a weekly borrowing session where students choose material for their reading pleasure. Opportunities are provided throughout the week where students are able to access
the library of a lunchtime.
Students must use library bags to borrow and return books. Library bags are available for purchase from the P&F Uniform Shop.
All students are responsible for ensuring library books are kept in good condition. If books are returned to the library damaged, parents will be expected to pay a fee to the school for replacement.
